Hydraulic Installation Kits

(For hydraulic installation of coupling hubs, thrust collars, impellers and flange studs for split turbine casings, shaft couplings and pressure vessels)

• Two hydraulic pumps and their gauges are mounted on a welded tubular steel sled in one package.
• Flexible hoses for both the high (40,000 psi) and low (10,000 psi) pressure connections.
• Hoses can be flexed to a 10 inch radius for use or storage.
• Hoses are interchangeable.
• System pressure tested to full capacity.
• All fittings use the 60° angle cone connection, which are the standard for high pressure service and are more leak resistant than pipe threads.
• Light weight (only 55 pounds).
• Kits come in a reusable rugged plastic storage container, so all pumps, fittings and hoses can be stored in one place ready for the next coupling/impeller/thrust collar installation. 

Hydraulic Pusher Piston/Cylinders

(For hydraulic installation of coupling hubs, thrust collars and impellers)

• Designed and constructed to match the machine shaft ends.
• Full stroke to accommodate the full pull-up of the hub onto the shaft.
• Delivered completely assembled with all seals and fittings needed for installation.
• Assemblies are pressure tested to ensure against leakage at installation.
• Made from hardened alloy steel.

Ring & Plug Gauges

(Shaft end tooling for use with tapered coupling hub and shaft end manufacturing)

• Designed and manufactured to match the machine shaft ends.
• Taper contact 90% to 95% guaranteed, bluing provided.
• Manufactured in most materials including, UNS 8620, Graphmo, A6 Tool Steel, and stainless steel. Double thermal stabilized for longevity of size.
• Inspection certification traceable to N.I.S.T, and storage service available.
• All gauges meet or exceed all API 671 requirements.
• Chrome plate repairing services available. 

Hydraulic Stud Tensioning Systems

(For stud/bolt tensioning of flange studs for gas or steam turbine studs, shaft coupling studs, or pressure vessel studs)

• Simple, repeatable tensioning of studs without utilizing heat sticks or hydraulic torque wrenches.
• Stud threads are not loaded during tensioning which eliminates galling of the stud threads.
• Hydraulic Nuts, Hydraulic Coupling Bolts, Hydraulic Tensioners, Hydraulic Pushers
•  Studs can be reused numerous times since stud threads are not galled during assembly/disassembly.
